Donald Redman – AMSI Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer
Don spent the majority of his two corporate careers with The Diversey Corporation in Chicago and with the DuBois Chemical Division of W.R. Grace and Company where he finished his career with Grace as President — Chemical Specialties International.
His corporate career also required company startups and reorganizations with foreign residence in South Africa, Netherlands, Italy. Switzerland and Great Britain. He was also active in several telecommunications startups and the funding and reorganization of Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant group which ultimately grew to 1,250 restaurants and was taken private in 2017 for $2.9 billion.
He is one of the two cofounders and the chief funder of AMSI as well as various medical research projects with the Universities of Florida-Gainesville and Alabama-Birmingham. The university projects are in the field of stem cell research and development for mammals and are presently with the US FDA for final tests before approval for commercialization.
Don has an associate degree from Lincoln College in Lincoln, Illinois followed by three years of economic and business administration studies at Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois. Don served during the Vietnam era in the US Air Force Reserves Medical Corps.
